It all started one night after I finished a GoTo Meeting session with the TasteCasting teams. An e-mail came message landed in my inbox. I have always wanted to try my hand at writing a fun commercial script. So I brainstormed a few concepts and as I kept saying GoTo Meeting, I started saying it faster and I heard the word Goat. From their I told my self that was a bad idea….My wife told me that it was not a baaaad idea. I laughed at her, and then my mind was racing. The result is this video. You can watch it at higher quality on this blog, but PLEASE VISIT THE GOTO MEETING SITE after you watch it here and leave your comments.
Everyone told me that working with animals would be problematic. After this video shoot I can tell you that working with Rocky was more difficult. The guy just kept cutting up and making us laugh. The Stars of the video were Julie Castell, Rocky VanBrimmer, Kelly Gingery, and Gordon Sherk. I also have to mention our two special guests goats Boots and Simba from Sunshine Farms in Galloway. All of these pictures were taking as we made the video. Check out the Competition video on the Go To Meeting Site.
I would like to introduce you to Hotel Eden, a Columbus, Ohio musical treasure. Kelly Warner, the solo artist behind the keyboards, guitar, vocal and turntables is an amazing musician and entertainer. He is a rising solo artist and soon to be super star on the music scene.

I’m in my forties and a lover of all kinds of music. When I heard Hotel Eden I was reminded of the Beatles and Beck. I grew up listening to them and enjoyed it. There is also a hint of Coldplay and Radiohead in several songs. I really enjoy the driving energy in the beat and the way the songs make you want to move.
After listening to Hotel Eden’s music on-line I loved it. I wanted to find a way to help him get the word out. Check out this grassroots Youtube video for his hit song - “Pressure”.
I was fortunate enough to hook up with Kelly for a interview thanks to Mike Mehrle, of Social Media Television to learn more about him for my blog and he is as approachable as his music. In the interview we talked about how he got started, why he named his solo act Hotel Eden? I also asked him about his approach to launching his CD and career using Social Media. He has a growing Twitter following at @hoteleden. He’s on facebook, reverbnation myspace, and several music sites. Prior to the Skully’s event he also held streamed and twitted his live rehearsals from the hotel eden website. We hit it off right away. Great music and a love for social media. I even learned a few things about Joseph Cornell thanks to Kelly. Watch the interview to learn more about Hotel Eden and Kelly Warner.
The following video is Hotel Eden performing “Way Back Home” at Skully’s Music Diner. After I shared the links above with a few twitter followers and TasteCasting team members we had a dozen people show. They were all thrilled with the venue and the performance.
I was so happy to have the support of the TasteCasting team to support Hotel Eden.
